PATCHWORKS GINGER X PRESS release their first EP on STlLL music !

Mr Day, Patchworks, Ginger X press, Still Music
The long awaited new Patchworks is finally here! Bruno Hovart - now joined by the Ginger Xpress : Mr Day on vocals, Benjamin “The Wonder” Devigne on keys & Jun Mastuoka (Colorblind) on samplers – is dropping his versions of Cymande’s timeless rare groove classic “Brothers On The Slide” hit. A1 starts with Patchworks heavily Roy Ayers influenced Brooklyn Mix - a jazztastic disco ride full of vibraphone & percussions. Jimpster (Freerange) is also back with a stunning house mix with a killer bassline. Get ready for another dancefloor monster. B1 sees Patchworks exploring the Philly sound with a soul mix that will ravish any fans of Quantic. finally Mr Rainy City Music himself: Irfan gives us a pure Nu Yorican Soul mix. Deep and catchy, this one goes straight to the Shelter. Word on the street is that the keys were played by Morcheeba’s very own keyboardist.

LUDOVIC LLORCA : I really, really like the patchworks... Top quality music. great arrangements, and the singer has an amazing voice. My prefered versions are the philly mix, it sounds like some music Curtis Mayfield would deliver today, excellent track... And also, the jimpster remix, who managed to inject a good house groove, without destroying the original track's soul. The Brooklyn Mix is nice too, reminds me of some nice Roy Ayers instrus (because of the vibraphone, i guess :-)

ALAN BROWN/ Soul Seduction: “In a very short period of time, Still music has elevated itself to premium world label status. Europe, Japan and the US are feeling this one, and the abstract sounds of Rondenion further this affirmation, 9/10”

BORJA/ Lovemonk: “Really impressed. Love the Patchworks disco taste and remixes and the future soul in each track of the Rhondenion ep. So many good cuts, so high quality, really happy I am playing tomorrow and will blow up the soundsystem! ”

MATS/RAW FUSION - JUGGLIN: “Just wanted to say that these new tunes are hot. The Brooklyn mix of “Brothers On The Slide” will be getting mad spins from me...deep and soulful just like I want it...love it! ”

MICHAEL RUTTEN / COMPOST RADIO: “its pure class music! ...the brothers on the slide original and the philly mix are great, irfan and jimpster on the house tip also very good! all'n'all a nice double package from the cool still music camp. keep on. ”

YANNICK/ Needs: “I'm deeply in love the brooklyn mix of "brothers on the slide".. damn funky and absolutely beautiful!! ..”
